MacBook dim screen

When my MacBook is not in use for long period of time and turn the button "on" the screen is bright but everytime I re-start my MacBook the screen is become dim. Any help out there.

You can just turn it back up... Or disable the automatically adjust brightness option.

Maybe I didn't really understand you post but it seems that the screen doesen't behave normally (the screen dim level should be remembered after restart).

Have you tried to reset the SMC? Take a look here: Apple KB: Resetting the SMC on Intel Macs
