I have the following problem with my mac 2020 i7: The macbook always restarts in internet recovery mode no matter what keys im pressing (globe icon). After the process finished the mac reboots and goes into recovery mode. However here is the problem, that it doesn't detect any startup disk. I erased the disk before and formatted it with apfs. Even after i install macos catalina through the recovery menu the mac reboots again in the network recovery mode (globe icon). Some information before: the guy in the apple store couldn't fix it either, but honestly he was just doing basic things every user would do. So the problem here is also that i cannot disable T2 security settings, because mac reports: "no admin user was found", which is obviuos because i erased the whole disk. I checked all two disks (macos base system, macos- hd) with first aid .... everything perfect. Can somebody help me? Most important questions: How can i create a admin user so i can disable T2 settings? What is the actual problem here? Below some pictures:

So basically im stuck in a endless loop of: Booting up waiting for internet recovery to finish (globe icon) then entering recovery mode installing macos catalina and rebooting ... globe icon

Every help is much appreciated. Maybe i can work with the terminal to achieve my goal? (I have linux background so that wouldn't be a problem)

It may have been one of the standard troubleshooting steps you’ve tried already...

NVRAM stores the startup disk selection, try resetting it.

Was this a brick-n-mortar Apple Store with a genius bar?
Or... was it somewhere else?

Where in the world are you?
USA?
Or... somewhere else?

Is this Mac still under warranty?

I believe there are some failures with the newer MacBook Pros that may be firmware/hardware based, and require special procedures to be be reset/overcome.

If you have a brick-n-mortar Apple Store nearby (that is open), I suggest you make an appt and take it to the genius bar.

If the tech there can't get it going, then I recommend that you POLITELY ask for a replacement.

If it's still under warranty, and if the Apple people can't "fix it", then requesting a replacement is well-in-order...

You can create an admin user in Recovery Mode using Terminal. Read the manual page for the command dscl. If the command is not available, you would have to mount /usr/bin, which is where it is.

Here is a helpful page on using dscl.
Hi thank you very much. I'm getting the following error:
create: Invalid path
<dscl_cmd> DS Error: -14009 (eDSUnknownNodeName)

My command ist dscl . create /var/user1
i also tried
dscl . create /Users/user1
but since /Users directory is not even on the disk and the root home directory is located in /var/root i tried the first command. Can you help me out. I already mounted with /sbin/mount -uw /
