MacBook doesn't turn on. What's the problem?

Hi,
My MacBook suddenly turned off while I was surfing the web.
then it doesn't turn on 🙁

Now only the little isight LED blinks very slightly when I press the power button. Nothing else happens 🙁

I tried to take out the battery & hold the power button for a few secs to reset the power management chip as instructed on Apple's website, but that doesn't work 🙁

Could anybody please tell me what to do now?

Have you tried turning your Macbook on with the battery removed and just the power cable hooked up?

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried those steps. Of course there are some steps that are N/A because my MacBook doesn't turn on at all.
I also tried turning the MB on with the adapter attached & without battery like you mentioned.
Nothing works 🙁

I guess there must be a problem with the MB hardware.... 😕
