Hello,

I have a white macbook and he as always worked fine, but now he don't start the mac OS X. But on the other hand I can login in windows XP with boot camp, but when I tried to access the machintosh HD (where is installed the mac OSX it says that the disk is corrupted or unreadable.

What can I do to solve this problem?

tks for your help, and sorry for some bad english.

Do you have another mac or a friend who has one? What I would try to do is connect your MacBook via FireWire to another mac and boot into target disc mode. From there you can try repairing your MacBook's harddrive from the other mac using disc utility. You could also pull this off with booting from the install disc and running disc utility from there.

Cheers

How can I boot from the install disk? I'm a newbie in mac world

Insert the disc, restart the computer, and hold down the option key. You'll see a list of boot discs, your install disc amung them. Pick the install disc to boot from it.
