MacBook Fans (1st time coming on)

Hey Guys,
I've had this MacBook for five months or so now, and in all that time, the fans have never come on. Until today. Weird, and I'd assume there is nothing wrong with the fan coming on, but I do worry why it never has before. I've not changed the environment that it's in, nor have I asked it to take on a heavier load.

Quite frankly, I don't like to listen to it.

Any ideas?

Its summer. Ambient temperatures are higher, so operating temperatures in the computer are higher.

Unless your laptop starts getting too hot, I wouldn't worry. The fan's there for a reason. 😛

The fan is always on. You can check (and adjust) its RPM via smcfancontrol. I normally leave mine at 4k.
