MacBook Folio Case

I purchased a CaseCrown folio case for my rMB. I love the case, but the MacBook can't completely shut with it on. Does anyone have one like this? Is there potential for the MacBook getting damaged with it slightly open like that?

I have no specific experience with a MacBook, but I'd be worried about the hinge. It looks like this case is keeping the hinge open as it still is applying tension to close it.

I seriously doubt it, my wife used a 13" MBA for several years with a similar case, no ill effects.
