Which of these will run World of Warcraft better? Both will have 2GB of RAM in them. Both running World of Warcraft in OS X Leopard.

    Macbook 2.0Ghz core 2 duo, 2GB RAM, 950 GMA

    iMac 1.8ghz PPC, 2GB RAM, Radeon 9600

    Neither.

The Macbook has very weak graphics power and the G5 has low CPU power AND weak graphics power.

I think the macbook will play better, it's already alot faster but the integrated graphics is the same memory as the iMac G5, probably will see similar performance, although the MacBook eensy weensy screen.

The integrated graphics in the MacBook is by far the weakest feature of the system. After scowering the archives at Barefeats.com I found tests of both systems running games. The MacBook ran Doom 3 at about 9-10 FPS on medium settings while the iMac managed 20-30 FPS on the same settings. I would assume a similar difference exists between the two systems for WoW.

We got her the iMac instead. You were right. The performance is far better on the iMac.
