MacBook goes a bit crazy when I turn off wifi

Hi folks,

Has anyone else experienced this. I usually connect my rMB to my iPhone for wifi. However, when I turn off the wifi on the rMB, funny things happen from time to time. I noticed today that the cpu ramps up to 84% usage approx. The trackpad becomes unresponsive and the cursor moves really slowly across the screen.

The only fix is to shut down the rMB and I notice that when it is in this state it takes a lot longer to shut down. Anyone else have this issue?

Very strange. I setup a lot of network hardware for my job and I am constantly turning my wifi on and off. No issues so far. You may need to make a Genius Bar appointment, especially if it's easily repeatable.
