Hi, I have an early 2008 Macbook 2.1GHz with 4 GB RAM. Recently I have been having issues with black blocks and green block coming up all all over parts of my screen, such as the dock and the desktop along with its icons. Is this a failing graphics card thus leading to a failing machine or a software issue???
Please Help.

Thanks

Maybe bad ram. Shut machine down and pull one ram module and restart the machine. Do this for both and see if you LCD problem goes away.

You could also try to hook your macbook to an external display and see if you have the same problem on both monitors
