So now after I do my ram upgrade, I plan on upgrading my 80 gig harddrive because it is way to small for what I need. Will upgrading it be as simple as upgrading the ram? Where can I get a new harddrive? I want to buy from newegg but I don't know what to look for.

Almost as easy. Get a Samsung or WD 320 gig from New Egg and you'll be good to go. About $140.

That drive is 3.5", you need 2.5". Look at the link I posted above.

You do replace the metal shield from your old HD to the new one.

Honestly I can only hear it when I put my ear to the keyboard. It is very quiet!

Are you using Time Machine? IMO it makes it much easier to do. Well, it worked for me anyway.

What is the largest HD a Macbook can hold. Is it simply whatever size the 2.5 comes in. I currently have a 250 and would love 500 if they made them. I know there are 320.

The Fuji drive won't work. It's 12.5mm in height.
