I have my mac to minidvi to minidvi-hdmi to hdmi to tv, there is just nothing on the hdmi screen, it supports up to 720i. Video receiver detecting HDMI, just no video, help appreciated thanks, tried all resolutions.

I don't get what you have? I am going to work it out.

Mini-DVI to HDMI and then an HDMI cable to a TV right?

Well, did you currently configure the settings to output signal?

Yes that is correct mini dvi to dvi adpater. then dvi to hdmi adapter, than hdmi cable to tv reciever box.
