my two biggest and really only issues I am having with my macbook are.

When I close my Macbook and it goes into sleep mode every 5 or 10 minutes it wakes up and the apple logo on the back lights up...and ti continually does this the whole night...how do i stop that from happening without powering it off?

Also every so often during the course of the day the internet seems to get really sluggish and photos and stuff within itunes and my browser wont show up or are really slow to show up. This didnt happen with my PC Laptop...

I have a Macbook 2.0 ghz santa rosa chipset
4 gb ram
250 gb harddrive
Leopard 10.5
ISP = TimeWarner Road Runner
Router: Netgear WR614

I've installed all updates for the OS

Is the Laptop paired up with any bluetooth or wireless peripheral?. If not you might want to try an SMC reset

-Shut down computer
-Disconnect all peripherals
-Remove battery
-Press and hold power button for 6 seconds
-Re-install battery

Power on and enjoy

the laptop is paired with a bluetooth headset that is almost always powered off.

ok did what you said below....is that supposed to fix the internet issues and sleep mode issues?

thx
