Macbook keeps stopping/thiking

Hi,

my macbook keeps stopping every 5 seconds to think or something, the coloured wheel comes up last for 5 seconds and then it starts again. Only happens when am working never on its own. Mac is under a year old !!

Any thoughts it quite annoying

Take it to a mac genius and see what they think. It may be just about anything and it must still be under warranty.

It might be a hard drive failure. As the first poster said, take it to the Apple Store. They should be able to fix it.
