As per subject. I have a strange feeling Apple is going to put the same keyboard in all its forthcoming laptops, because thin. Do you like it?

If anything they would switch to the new scissor mechanism and profile of the stand alone magic keyboard. With that said, I really like the macbook keyboard, but I like the stand alone magic keyboard best. IMO, it is the perfect blend of the two. I bet apple has replaced a lot of MacBooks b.c the butterfly mechanism is failing. This is one of those things I do not think is a "forum" problem.

I don't really like it, feels like you're typing on a flat surface with no real 'blind feel' for what's where, so I find it difficult to touch type. That said you can still type quickly on it, it's just something I don't think I'll ever enjoy using over long periods.

I'm happy with it, but wouldn't say "love it" so didn't vote either way. What I love about it is I can type faster on it than on any other keyboard, but what I hate is it's noisy.

I voted "Hate it," but only because there wasn't an "Annoyed by it, but learning to live with the annoyances" option. My annoyances are the same noted above (noisy, no "blind feel," particularly for keys on the far left and right of the keyboard). Once I'm in the zone, though, I can type as fast on this keyboard as any, just with a lot more noise than my coworkers are used to.

I like it well enough. As far as slim keyboards go, it has a lot to like in good differentiation between keys and excellent tactile feedback. You have to type lightly on it however otherwise all you feel is the bottoming out of the keys against the solid backplate which isn't great.

I really enjoy typing on the rMB keyboard. I bought it for my return to higher education. I've typed out 4 major papers on it and never had to look at the keyboard as I typed.

I use the keyboard every single day (mainly for work) since purchasing it on April 2015, and have zero issues w/ it. So far, it's been a pleasure to use on a daily basis.

I love it.

My typing style has changed on this computer. (hands not resting on the computer...lifted about keyboard. Also I type lighter as well since the keys seem 'delicate.')

There is a learning curve, but it does feel premium typing on it

Ahh ****. You know apple is doing work when they have us saying "premium" to type on.

It does feel luxurious to type on. I'm not a thesaurus so maybe luxurious or premium aren't the right words. It feels different. It feels high-end.... Regular keyboards now feel cheap and clunky to me.

I can't be the only one.

I know exactly what you mean. I have to use other people's computer here and there are work, and it is a nightmare using their keyboards!

I'm really fascinated by this result, after reading threads here I had a feeling this keyboard was universally hated, it's very interesting to see the opposite is true!

I've used it for a few hours and I kind of love it, but I'm a little worried about reliability of this solution ....

I am surprised there isn't an "Indifferent" option here. But so far the results mimicks what I've thought, just based on reading threads here. There are always people that doesn't like random-new-gimick1, but the majority seem to like it after they've used it for some time.

I am mostly surprised because I've seen so many "my keyboard stopped working" threads here.

The "there is a new keyboard?" option means "indifferent" as well, that's my sense of humour not translating. Apologies.

for decades we were/are used to normal with travel keys. but not anymore, for 2 months i have this, first like over 20.000 words i didn't like it because i always checked the screen for input, but now after so many words and days of typing on it, i really know this is the future its all about the confident that the keyboard giving you. But like i said for normal people needs a lot of time to adjust with it
Now when i look, or type on my 15" MBP the space between keys and the backlit, i hate them

after more than a week of usage... i cant get use to it... i find it less sturdy than the normal keyboard....

you do realize this is an Apple "FAN" site right?
absolutely hate the keyboard myself, after 9 months with them. I can say i'm fairly good with them. but then I tried a window computer (Razer blade) and the keyboard is just so much better.

Of course I do :) But I don't think even Apple fanbois would vote that they love the keyboard if they hated it. (Hang on, I don't know if all the voters as much as tried it out...)
