MacBook Keyboard problem, shift+key doesn't work..

Hi, I have a problem my macbook keyboard stopped working :/ When I press shift + m (for example) it doesn't change it to capital letter. This applies to only half of the key's thats really strange because on my external aluminum keyboard everything works fine. I tried on new user account, same think... also I have accidentally broke the plastic pin that holds one of my keys do you know here I can get one ?

If you do not have the Keyboard Viewer already active:
System Preferences > Keyboard > [Keyboard tab] > Tick the box labelled "Show Keyboard and Character Viewer in menu bar" > Close SysPref

If you do already have it active:
Click the icon in the menu bar > select Keyboard Viewer.

With the onscreen keyboard active, hold down your Shift key. Do all the letters become upper case? With the keyboard onscreen, do the defective letters work as they should?

Ww Shift and the w do not work-- but CAPS LOCK and w does give a capital W

I have the same problem with my aluminum extended keyboard's Cap O. Works with caps lock, works with the right shift key, and shows up as a cap on the Keyboard Viewer., but only occasionally does it work when typing with the left shift key. I'm stumped.

Did you find any solution for this! Now funnily I seem to be having this problem only with the letters b, t and g. they are not working with the shift key. All working fine lowercase and capital with caps lock.

What is your macbook version? It is a well known butterfly keyboard malfunction. Apple has decided to conduct a replacement program after a petition and a law suit being filed. Take it back to Apple for a keyboard replacement.

It's an iMac. 27" bought it in 2015

I'm having the same issue. The on-screen keyboard is showing that when i press SHIFT all letters turn into Capital and is registering my keystroke on the letters that I'm having issues (O & T), but those letters aren't showing during typing. I can do them capital with the Caps Lock pressed tho..
I have a mid 2015 MacBook Pro 15'' Retina..

It's been like this for a while now, and I've updated all of the software, reset all of the shortcuts and keyboard keys... nothing makes it work.
