Macbook LCD panel tint difference?

Anyone noticed that during the day whites on the macbook look more yellow, but at night they look perfectly white?

Also, how long should one wait before the blub is all warmed up and running at full potential?

No, seriously, I don't see any difference between day and night.
And normally it would take only a few seconds to be in its full potential.
 
depending on how long it was off it could take several minutes for the backlight to fully warm up.
 
Last night I was setting up my mums MacBook and I thought there was a purplish-tint in certain areas, but it was probably just because I was tired.

Minutes??

Are we talking for going from 99% to 100%? I really don't seem to notice any difference in the potential of the screen. Apart from the first few seconds.
 
I think there's a definite tint to all macbooks. I use the regular LCD profile it came with. If you try any of the RGB profiles, you'll notice a blue/purple tint to everything. I think the default apple profile tends to be a tad warm. that's all.

Are there any thrid party profiles available for further tweaking on a mac? Or can you tweak the standard ones yourself?
