Macbook Lid closing Problem

So i got one. But when i close the lid it closes where the magnets are but inbetween it kind of bends a bit. Is this normal.

 
I think the middle is supposed to have a magnet too? It seems as if there's nothing trying to connect the lid to the computer.
 
No there isn't supposed to be a magnet in the middle, but that bend also shouldn't be there (at least it isn't in mine).
 
Could use one of these.... 😛

just get a new one...i would. that's definitely not normal and you paid so much for it that it should be perfect. they should exchange that no questions asked.
 
I got it offline, but its stock. I exchanged, about to open the new one. Almost got the black one, but stuck with white. Lexus, what do you do with so many mb's?
 
I know the PB/MBPs have "the smile," which curves up from the middle out.
This is more like "the frown," and as such, I have no idea what else to say about it. 😛
 
As others have mentioned it should sit flush and straight across. I just closed mine and it does. Yours is not the way it should be. Get it replaced.
 
wow, i'm heading to the ApPlE store tomorrow to do some iPod accessory browsing. I'll close all the macbooks there and check for you.
