Macbook -> Macbook Pro

Hey Everyone;

Just bought one of the new 15" Macbook Pro's (my friend got me a GREAT deal.... £1100 instead of £1369!) I've currently got an old 1st Gen Macbook... whats going to be the fastest way of transfering all my files/music over?

Firewire if your 1G Macbook has it.

That or wired ethernet.

Yeah my Macbook has Firewire... which will be faster that or ethernet?

Ethernet should be faster at 1000Mbs (Gigabit ethernet if it has it) as opposed to Firewire's 400Mbs.
