Yet another demonstration of why Apple doesn't hire 15 year-olds to do their industrial design.

Aside from the color choice, I dig the concept.

    I think it's pretty cool...

    nice job...

Apple will probably go NetTablet anyways to ressurrect their Newton technologies and be compatible with iPhone Apps.

Neat idea, wrong choice of colours though.

I don't think Apple would do it anyways. They're about simplicity, and the top part with the trackpad moving adds more little things that could easily break.

Kind of pointless and not apple at all.

Why would you want to the trackpad on top of the keyboard, if this thing is made to be portable, it would be impossible to type with it on your lap.

Can someone please prescribe me some anti-nausea medication because I'm going to be sick.

Doesn't Apple already have a netbook? The MB Air. ;)

An $1800, 13" computer is NOT a netbook regardless of how thin it is. The Dell Mini 12 isn't even a netbook.

This probably the main argument against it id say. As much as i would want an Apple netbook, this isnt very usable for portable use unless it was extremely stable

actually it looks very good to me. When you use the netbook for 'quick' surf you can use the trackpad and if you need more extensive use then you get your keyboard.

However I agree that it is a little bit too complicated... Looking forward to what apple really does. hopefully soon enough :apple:
