hey
i dont know if this has been mentioned before, couldtn find it by searching but i have a problem with my 5 month old macbook, the mouse button under the trackpad sometimes get stuck down and so you press the button and it works fine but feels like a touch sensitive button themn i have to whack it to get the button up and back to normal, has anyone else had this, is there a way to fix this?

If it always does this, then take it into an Apple Store and have it replaced.

does this mean they would give me a brand new macbook or take it into repair, because ive had bad experiences with 'repairs' :(
also it only happens sometimes not every click, so they might not believe me...
 
They would try to fix the problem, not offer up a brand new unit.

If the problem is repeatable, just be patient with the Genius and hopefully they'll see it too.
