MacBook Mouse, Trackpad & Keyboard stopped working

A friend of mine's macbook doesn't seem to be working. It will boot but none of the I/O controls seem to function.
 
Sounds to me like your friend spilled a drink on the MacBook. Your friend may have to take it in for service.
