MacBook Neo or Air?

Never had a MacBook before (I do use 17 pro, AirPods 4, iPad Air 11inch M4 and Apple Watch 11) so not new to Apple but very new to MacBooks and macOS. So I want a MacBook to stream on and just use in general for the house so wondering if people think the screen etc will be ok for streaming or should I just go with my gut and get an air?

Neo still has a great screen, its 500 nits like the air, 100% srgb. It's slightly smaller and not as colour accurate but it's definitely still a nice screen. Speakers is another one to consider if you're using this for streaming shows as the air does have a bit better speakers from what I've read up on in reviews.

Could always order both from apple or whoever that has a good return policy and compare them side by side for yourself and see what you prefer. Either one will fit your use case for the power requirements.

I personally prefer the nicer screen on the air, the backlight keyboard and because I use mine mostly unplugged from the wall, I appreciate the better battery life the air offers.

If the air is in your budget, it's definitely a nice step up overall as a laptop. Typing this from my new M5 air as we speak lol. I've had a lot of windows laptops over the years but the air has hands down been my favourite laptop I've ever used, it's not even close.

Ha I think I’ll go with the air 🙂 will stretch the budget but will be worth it in the long run 🙂
