Hey all. I have a MacBook White (see sig) and for some reason it won't burn DVD DLs. Toast complains of a "medium" error, where the Finder complains of "laser insufficiency" or something. I google'd "MacBook/MacBook Pro SuperDrive Firmware Update" and it showed me a thread here detailing the MacBook model just before mine. Would that update work? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Thanks in advance,

I've been using Memorex DVD+Rs, which are the DLs. My drive only has trouble burning those. All other media it burns fine...

I only use Verbatim DVD+R DL on my macbook and have never had a problem burning these dual layer discs.

I have been trying to burn DL dvds with my Macbook Pro, the Verbatim+R DL and have had no success,
