So I have a MacBook White Unibody from 2006 (with 2GB RAM and 250GB Hdd) and it suddenly stopped charging. I thought no big deal, just replace the charger. Then I tested it out on my MacBook Black and it was working perfectly. I then proceeded to replace the magsafe port. This did not help at all.
I am taking the machine in to Apple for them to have a look but I was just curious to know what anybody thinks could be the problem. The MacBook has not been dropped or had liquid damage and has had a really peaceful life and I am just sad to see it die before my 2007 MacBook which has stood the test of time amazingly well.
(I have tried resetting the SMC to no avail)
