I put my computer to sleep, went to play some ball and I get back and my Macbook doesn't wanna recognize it.

    What happened?

    Umm edit:

Now it says I don't have a battery, what the hell?

I unplugged my adapter but its running.

2nd edit: ok the battery is working, which is what concerned me the most. just did some PRAM reset or whatever.

I had the same problem as well, I assume ur running Leopard and ur mouse is a Logitech one. The solution is to plug the receiver to another USB port or restart the system.

I also heard that downloading the mouse setting app from Logitech will help but not sure about that.
