Hi all, new to the forums here. New Mac user too. Recently purchased a new Macbook, just noticed that it stopped producing the audio it used to when I shut the screen and when I re-opened it. Any thoughts/solutions? 😕

What audio are you looking for?
Mine is silent on both sleep and wake aside from the SuperDrive performing a self-check on the wake cycle.
If you're looking for the start-up sound, I don't think the MacBooks make that noise on wake from sleep.

Before when I would shut my screen the Macbook would make a little sound. Same with when I opened it.
