I would prefer if apple didnt introduced them (even if they are really nice) With a quiet release only the true apple fans have it the first few days/weeks.. Until the word spreads and people go and buy one. Youre the only one to have it, and people go wtf is that?! What an incredible feeling to have such a gadget and to be the only one owning it, until people copy you.. lol Thats what happened when I first got iPod touch, (even though there was an announcement for it) I was the first one to have one last year.. they were all amazed, I even had a teacher who stopped his class to play with it..

Im in college now and I see all these people with their macbooks and it kills me to see them chatting, playing games, taking notes..it makes me so mad!! And I cary my camping bag full of binders all around the school.. I feel better knowing that they will be old fashion in a week or so.. mouhahaha.. at least I hope so..

The majority of people will still have the current MacBooks, even if new ones are released tomorrow. There may not be a noticeable difference between the two.

So essentially you just want to pull out your computer and be able to flash it at people in a manner that says "look at me and my new computer, I'm so much better than you and your old obsolete system?"
