B bourdieu macrumors newbie Feb 14, 2007 #2 I dont see why you would do that. Ive been using my G4 PB some 6h a day, plugged in, for about 2 yrs - works just fine and my battery still gives me a healty 3 houres. Have fun with your new machine!

4nr- macrumors regular Feb 14, 2007 #3 I never do it, but i see why people would. The macbook gets very hot and removing the battery will cool it down.
