C cap'njack macrumors member Original poster Jul 29, 2009 #1 I have around £1,000 to spend on a laptop. I have a 500gb external hard drive. Should I go for the £799 MacBook with 4gb of RAM and a larger hard drive, or a £899 MacBook Pro with 4gb of RAM?? This will be my first Mac since the mid 1990's 🙂 Thanks
