what about the last 5%?

I compute at school and home. No I don't take my computer to coffee shops or to friend's houses.

I'd have to say pretty much 50/50 home and work. At home I use it on a desk exclusively as I had 2 different machines drowned by the GF's stupid dogs jumping up on the coffee table and spilling a drink on the notebook. At work I use it at the bar, in the office, outside on the patio, or wherever. I do watch it closely though to make sure nothing gets spilled on it. I have been known to take it to Starbucks by work when people bother me too much when I have something important that needs to get done. It is pretty much with me at all times since the restaurants master recipe collection resides on it (backed up on 2 different Time Machine backups.)

I don't go out much with my laptop so mine is 98% on the desk. The remaining 2 is when I travel or go places where there is WiFi.

Almost always in bed. If I could convince myself to clean off my desk for the new monitor I just bought, maybe I'd be at the desk more often. Just isn't as convenient as being able to lay down and browse the web at the same time.

Like I'm doing now. :)

This is why I need to get Macbook very sooon..:(

It's fun to be able to work anywhere..

My stats

I'd say mine would be

80% At Desk
8% in Car
4% in Grandparents
Last 8% in other places like airplanes, other countries, my bed, coffee shops etc

I use my white macbook in the living room on my easy chair. I have one of those lap stands. No real work happens here.. just surfing and checking scores, etc. :p

I have a very comfortable centralised hub in my home where I perform all my computing, work and play. I'd post pictures but I'd simply be accused of boasting.

I got my computer in august , soo i been babying it ever since :D but soo far it has been 100% in the table, if i but it any lower my baby nephew is going to think is a toy and he don't play nice with toys
