Macbook power adapter used on MBP

So I just upgraded to a MBP and I think I know the answer to my own question but since I have a extra Macbook power adapter cord could I use it from time to time to charge the MBP?

no MacBook power adapters are 60W and MacBook Pros are 85W.

Thanks, it looks like I can use it but it may not be able to charge the computer as quickly.
