My Macbook Pro occasionally "turns itself on" while in sleep mode with the lid closed. I couple times I'd go to get the macbook out of my briefcase abd the fan was running and it was too hot to pick up. Each time, I had put it to sleep and left the office. Later that night I'd go get it from my briefcase to find it running and very hot.

Anyone heard this before? I've taken it back to Apple Store and they say they never heard of it and can't find anything wrong. I don't think they really believe me!

Launch Terminal and drag this code
Code:
syslog -k Sender kernel -k Message Req Wake

That should tell you what caused the sudden wake up.
