I'm thinking of purchasing at best buy, 10$ more than on amazon. Samsung 850 EVO 500GB for $169.
On to my question:
I am kind of getting the install myself (been watching tons of videos on youtube, seems easy? Even a kid is doing it lol). I was wondering if I can put my 1TB HDD in the CADDY...and the SSD where the HDD is now. And how do I boot a new OS? Can I do it without SUPERDUPER by Cloning it? Can I just install El Capitan onto my computer (APP STORE ACCOUNT) boot up in CMD-R mode / DISK UT / ERASE SSD or HDD (not sure which ever, advice please). and reinstall OS X El Capitan onto the SSD instead of the HDD...when I do this will I get the OPTION of which HDD or SSD, upon set up? is there anyone who can give me the step-by-step written so I get what I'm doing? I know its not as difficult but i'm close enough to take it to the shop to get someone to do it but I don't have the budget. So it'd be awesome and i'd appreciated if someone taught me stepbystep of how to do all this...: creating new OSX ...on to a HDD or SSD. Can I swap the locations of SSD and HDD? like put the SSD in the slot and put HDD in the caddy? or does it have to be SSD in the caddy? See I'm confusing myself all over again lol.

And would it be easier to download EL CAPITAN onto a USB FLASH DRIVE? And how do I do that? I apologize for any annoyance but I'm a newb to this. Just learning
