Macbook Pro 13 2015 Battery Capacity

Hello,

what is the capacity of Macbook Pro 13 early 2015 in mAh? I can only see, that it has "Built-in 74.9-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery" but I cant really see it in system information. There is only information about 6600 mAh.

"Apple claims that this new 11.42 V, 74.9 Whr battery provides up to 10 hours of web browsing and up to 12 hours of video playback."

this doesn't seem right how can a MacBook Pro only have a battery roughly 3.5 times the battery of the iPhone? The ipad 2 air has 7340. No way these numbers are adding up

Take a look at the ifixit tear down and you'll see that it's also listed on the battery itself.

Any reason why you need to know the battery capacity? Is something not working the way you'd expect it to work?

why do you say 3.5 times ?

An iPhone 6 battery :

Voltage : 3.82 V
Capacity : 1810 mAh
Watt Hours : 6.91 Wh (3.82 x 1.81)

A Macbook Pro battery :

Voltage : 11.42 V
Capacity : 6500 mAh
Watt Hours : 74.2 Wh (11.42 x 6.5)

74.2 versus 6.91 Wh is TEN times more.

Anyone know what a 2015 mid 15" rMBP battery capacity SHOULD be in mAh? Mine reads 8996, is that correct?
