Hello.

Since MacOSX Catalina I am seeing some seriously battery drain while in Sleep mode. (15-25% overnight).
I first thought, it could be some old programs that still running.

I did a clean install to get rid of everything.

After the new install, I did _not_ installed any apps. I just waited until 100% battery.
Closed the lid overnight and again - ~20% off that night.

So it's no software issue from apps or programs.

I deactivated Power Nap and there is nothing attached to the mac (no monitors, no bluetooth connections, nothing via usb...).
I also turned off wlan and icloud, so it can't be online activity.

Seems to be a problem with Catalina, as this appeared first after upgrade.

So - what can I do? Any solutions here? Anyone else expecting the same issues?
As this is no productivity device, there is no Mojave Backup. Rollback is no option.

Just want to be able to sleep mode it, as I am using it for a couple of mins daily and the normal boot tooks longer than my activity in some cases. ^^

I'm curious.. Go to 'About This Mac' > 'System Report' > 'Power' and check your charge remaining before you put the computer to sleep. Then check again in the morning. How much loss? I'll test the same tonight with an identical MBP out of curiousity.

Also how many cycles? Battery condition reported as normal?

Fishrrman's "broken record" advice:
At night, just power it down, all the way off.
Reboot in the morning.

31 Loading Circles. Battery is showed in fantastic shape BEFORE Catalina in Coconut & other Tools.
I can repost this, but running time was never an issues with sleep.
This drain however, seems to be no battery problem.

As I said before.. no option. Beside that: not "repairing" something broken is never a solution.
