Every time I open the lid it takes a few seconds for me to able to use My brand new 2020 13" MBP as the all system takes a few seconds and in the mean time the screen is frozen. it's not a huge deal but it's a bit annoying I can't use my laptop straight away. anyone else encountered this? is this a normal thing?
I already reset the SMC and the PRAM and I am using the latest OS update with no help, would love to get any advice
thanks in advance

Hi , I am having the same problem with MBP 2020. I have still not found any solution for the same. I recently updated to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6. With this upgrade the same problem has persists but there is a slight improvement.

I think my one is fine. As soon as I open it my Watch automatically unlocks it.

Hello! I have a similar problem. Today I talked with Apple support and they said that the problem is probably in the motherboard, since the battery does not supply voltage to the necessary nodes of the system. The error in the console looks like this.
I'll go to the service center tomorrow.

Thanks for posting, I have the same issue and just thought it was normal to 10.15.7. I also recognized that the problem does not occure when I have my Apple Watch on... Will have a support chat tomorrow...
