Hello guys, I have a early 2015 Macbook Pro 13 inch and I need some parts for it. Could anyone help me find out if all a1502 models have the same parts or are they different? I found 9 macbook models with the same model a1502, but different EMC and specs and I am wondering if the frame is the same on all of them. Thank you!

By frame do you mean the top case (the keyboard, trackpad etc)

2015 models have a different topcase to late 2013 and mid 2014 models which are all described as A1502.

2015 have different trackpad to 2013/2014 models ?

Which parts are you looking for ?

i think, if you need only part, you can check at ebay or aliexpress or craiglist...

Which parts do you need? I know the battery, SSD and WiFi cards are interchangeable in the 2013 to 2015.

I have a 1502 EMC 2835 and I need the frame that holds the keyboard and trackpad and the screen. I found the frame, and now I need to find out which screens are compatible with this model.

Thank you guys!

Based on my research, the LCD screens for the late 2013 and mid-2014 are interchangeable but the early 2015 logic board will only work with an early 2015 LCD. The 2015's part # is different from that of the 2013/14.

Sounds like the only screen I can get is for this specific model and EMC huh..

I Googled around and several people have said the same thing. I have no personal knowledge as to the compatibility of the 2013/14 with a 2015 logic board.

I have a late 2013 and mid-2014 I purchased for parts. I put the late 2013 logic board in the mid-2014 and everything worked.

2013/14 and 2015 13 inch screen compatability - this is what I have found.

I have swapped a couple of screens between 2013/14 and 2015 models

2015 MBP booted fine with 2013 screen but screen took much longer to illuminate. No Apple logo visible and screen illuminated when boot-up progress bar was about halfway across. After that it worked fine.

2014 MBP with a 2015 screen worked 100% - no problems whatsoever.

Only did it once so your mileage may vary

Yes. 2013 screen will work on 2015 MacBook pros. The only issue is when you start up. Black screen until loading bar reaches half way then it will work fine. Also. If you reload the OS. THE BLACK SCREEN WILL STAY ON UNTIL YOU COMPLETE THE PROCESS. USE A FLASHLIGHT AND AIM ON THE SCREEN SO YOU CAN SEE THE PROMPTS TO FINISH THE INSTALL. ALSO IN VEBROSE MODE. IT WILL GET THE BLACK SCREEN AS WILL. I THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH THE EFI NOT PICKING UP THE APPLE LOGO BACKLIGHT UNTIL THE MACBOOK IS FULLY LOADED. I DID THIS 5 times and they all have the same setback. But it will work.
model 1502-A MacBook Pro.
Hope this helps.
