is the macbook pro 2019 13 inch core i5 2.4 ghz better than the 1.4ghz? 2.4 ghz one its almost 150 $ more than the 1.4. is the 2.4 ghz worth getting over the 1.4 ghz?

Speed is worth it. But you may also consider the applications that you are going to use. If you are going to use it for applications that do not require high processing speed, you might need to think again.
they have actually quite close performances. Unless you really need that boost. Save a few bucks
