The MacBook Pro 13" that is being sold RIGHT NOW still has the problematic butterfly keyboard.
It's prone to failure. Apple will replace it for four years after purchase, but if it breaks after that, YOU have to pay for the repair, and it's not cheap.
There will be a "new" MacBook Pro 13" (or possibly a MBP 14") coming out in the late spring/early summer (May/June?), and it will have the new-design "scissors" keyboard (which is actually a re-work of the OLD "scissors" keyboard that was used in the MBP up through 2015).
Can you wait for that...?
