Hey everyone!

I currently have a 2016 13" MacBook Pro with touch bar on order

I'm really interested in the 5k display especially after the price drop

But I have some concerns that the 13" will use all its power driving the 5k display that it will be slow at other tasks like video and photo editing.

I'm well aware that on apples spec sheet it says the 13" can drive 1 5k display and the 15 can drive 2

But how will driving a 5k display affect the other aspects of computing power ?

I'd be gutted if everyday tasks in 5k started to slow down the MacBook Pro :(

Anyone have any insight on this ?

:)

I was looking into the 4K/5k displays myself for the 15". Curious as to what people say.

I have the same question. No one has any answers yet because no one tested anything. There is one ******* that has the display but he isn't reviewing it yet.
