MacBook Pro 13” replacement charger

Hi would any of you advise for or against buying a 3rd party charger for a 2012 MBP? My Dad has just ordered one and I’m dubious to say the least...

I'd beware of the "cheapo" chargers.

When I needed a new one, I got one from OWC. Cost a little more than the cheapo ones.
I'm going to -guess- that it -might- be genuine! 😉

I won't recommend that someone use an aftermarket charger, but here's the one I use...

Hey, I got this charger for my mid-2009 13" Macbook Pro. In about 3 1/2 months of service, it has been flawless !

(Sorry, I don't know if this is compatible with a 2012 MBP, but just check the model numbers on the product page)

OWC sells pulls too. They usually identify them as such.

Used parts. Myself, I wouldn't trust a used power supply with no user-serviceable parts. Someone else may have another opinion.
