is this normal?

the left hand side is sunk in slightly while the right hand side which is flush with the case...

the trackpad works perfectly as does the rest of the macbook so i don't really wanna return it

any advice on high to adjust it if nots not normal?

thanks

None of the trackpads seem perfect (at least the ones I've used) Either live with it, or contact Apple.

It's not normal, but if you hav them attempt to fix it, they will surley ness something up. I would live with it if I were you.

I have a base 13" 2010 and my trackpad is EXACTLY the same as what you described.

I have had 3 15in unibodys and they have all been uneven. kinda bugs me thinking about it but you get used to it.

Mine is more or less perfect.

I just used a micrometer with a probe to measure the height of the trackpad area sides. I measured each side in 2 places and from the lowest to the highest measurement there is only a difference of around 4%.

Ye gods I just realised what I did, and then posted about.

NURSE!

I have the same thing going on with my current Macbook. I was quite concerned with it when I first got it but it's never caused any issues.
