I've got my base model MBP 14 after 3 weeks of waiting. However, as soon as I unboxed the device, I saw damages on the case. I started a replacement request, which costed me extra 3-4 weeks and 3K USD of cash that I will receive after a freelance job that I have to use a Mac during the job.

Ooo boy I would be PISSED. I wonder if the assembler lady at Foxconn accidentally dropped it and quietly packaged it so that she doesn't lose her job...
This really sucks. I hope apple has a faster delivery for those who replace their problematic macs.
