My macbook today do this glitches line on the top of the screen when i shutting down, i tried to shutting down many times and it all the same. The screen totally working fine when i'm using it but only does this when i shut down. Anyone experiences the same problem? And how you solve it ?

Update, It's only happens when i have charger plugged in, no problem when i'm on battery.
I'm running Catalina on MBP 15 2019.

I’ve seen all sorts of graphical glitches during that stage. I probably wouldn’t worry too much if the display is fine otherwise. Which OS version is that? No such issues on Catalina (yet!)

Edit I noticed you are using Catalina. Strange! Mine never did that.

Mostly will be hardware since it has one of the powerful Video card chip it might come with some problems but I will suggest you to reinstall OS X Jut to see if it’s software problem and if not you will have to check with you warranty.probably you will have to ship it to Apple and they will of course fix the problem.

It's confused me also, and it's only appears when i shutdown.

Does it affect your use of the machine? You ask a fair question but my opinion is that there is probably no problem. It is probably a graphic switching artifact.

i get it, and hope so, cause i come from the country that don't have Apple Store so warranty process it's not that smoothy, that's why i'm worried this can lead to bigger problems.Thank you!

So long as it boots up as it should, and then the screen looks as it should while running... I wouldn't worry about it. Might be "something in the software" (not "in the hardware").

I found some post about " Automatic Graphic Switching " option can cause this kind of glitches, i turn it off and everything was fine now, i guess it's a bug since the last MacOS and still not fully fixed, yet.
