    Hey,

This is my first post so plz dont hate.

So.. I currently own an 14" Vaio EA Laptop and I am planning on buying the 2011 MBP 15"

I was just wondering if anyone owns both of these machines?
If so, can you tell me if there really is a difference in size of the bezel?

    MBP Length: 14.37in
    Vaio EA Length: 13.67in

    ^
Is this alot of a difference?

If anyone owns a 15" MBP and a 14" Laptop...have you found a noticeable difference in size between the two?

    It's 15.4", not 14.37"?

Head over to your local Apple Store or retailer and bring your laptop.

    Problem solved.

I mean the length of the laptop itself not the "screen size."

This. Plus, the weight is nearly identical (the MBP is 0.2 or 0.3 pounds heavier).

the "15 inch" is referring to the diagonal screen size.
you also have to factor in the aspect ratio of the screen when comparing two different models.

It is not the screen that matters ... it is all about the OSX

for screen size ... you have 3 choices ... pick one

pretty much that, but anyways, who cares if it can compare to your other 14", if apple says its 15", then its 15".

Not at all, especially if you plan to make a purchase and this would help with your purchase decision.
