Hi,

I'm thinking of selling off my current MacBook Pro toward the purchase of a new one, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding how much I could expect to get for it/what a fair asking price would be if I were to sell it myself rather than trading it in?

Here are the specs:
mid-2014 model MGXC2LL/A
15-inch Retina display
2.5Ghz Intel Core i7
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M
16GB RAM
512GB SSD

Everything is in excellent condition except for the cable on the power supply, which has a break in the insulation right where it meets the power supply (which I used electrical tape to repair). I wouldn't be opposed to picking up a replacement power supply if it would make more of a difference in the value of the laptop than it would cost (I noticed on one trade-in site that I tried a quote from, it did). I'm pretty sure I've even got the original box around here somewhere.

Depends if you sell on eBay or something like CL (CL price depends on area also). Around 1300 on eBay. Most likely less on local sale.

Ok, thanks! I'm honestly not sure what the best way to sell it (effort vs. return) would be. I've never had a system that was still worth much by the time I was looking to upgrade in the past!
