MacBook Pro 15" mid 2009 enough for Windows 8 Virtual Machine?

Is this sufficient to run a Windows 8 Virtual Machine?

Sure, I've run windows on my 2009 MBP in vmware and it was fine.

With 8GB of RAM you'll be fine. The C2D might be your limiting factor though if you do anything heavy in Windows over VMware.
