Hey guys,

I've got a few macbooks and I'm trying to repair my Mid 2009 15" Last 3 on the serial are 7XJ if you want to verify specs. 2.53GHz w/ 9400M only.

I need to replace the logic board in it. I was wondering if it's possibly to replace it with a Late 2008 or Early 2009 Logic board? They all seem to have the same external I/O ports. Hardware is the same mostly. Only difference is the 2008/early 2009 have the 9600GT/9400M combo graphics, the high end mid 2009 models have that too but mine does.

Can I use the late 2008, early 2009 or higher end mid 2009 logic boards with the combo graphics?

I have a mid 2010 macbook pro a1286 will a mid 2009 3.06 logic board 820-2523-b fit my macbook pro

I don't think so. The mid 2010 is a completely different architecture (Core i5/i7) than the 2009 (Core 2 Duo), and I also think the port configuration changed between those two years.
