hello everyone,
i got macbook pro 15" mid 2015.
i replaced the ssd from apple original 512gb ssd to nvme m.2 samsung pro 970 1tb ssd with an long sintech adapter.
the speed i get is:
around
1300 write, 1450 read.
when i replaced it i got around:
2500w/2800r.

after a couple month of using the computer it dropped down to 1300 write, 1450 read, i checked my link width in system report and i realized its not x4 anymore and its actually x2.

please help me, what should i do?
i really want to bring my macbook to limit i can with this nvme ssd, this is one of the reasons i got this ssd.

Thanks anyone.

Try reinstalling the adapter and drive.

Make sure the contacts on the adapter are not touching three metal shield over the logic board's SSD slot.
I did it already, Put a kapton tape as well.
What do you mean the drive?

Sorry, I meant to say the metal Shield that covers the SSD. With some adapters, the silver metal shield would make contact with the NVMe adapter.

It's also possible there is something wrong with the adapter.
