I'm jealous. I've been looking for a good condition MBP 15" Pre-Unibody for ages. Nothings turned up cheap!

Why do you need a 1TB HDD? Performance wise, wouldn't a SSD be better? Have you considered an external HDD?

I need bigger storage like everyone else, i currently have a 320 GB hard drive, need more than that. Externals are not for me. The only thing I did find so far is 12.5 mm and I am not sure if it will fit🙁

REPEAT:

You can only use 2.5" S-ATA HDDs with a maximum height of 9.5mm, that gives you currently only a maximum capacity of 750GB.

ADDENDUM: Only the Aluminium Unibody MB/Ps and the 17" pre-Unibody MBP can hold 12.5mm HDDs.
